To me Break…fast is not only important but it really is my favourite meal. It doesn’t matter if I am going to eat it within an hour of getting up, or delaying it until midday because I am on an intermittent fasting day. Whichever, it has to be tasty, colourful and nourishing.
I either have Pr’oats- Porridge oats made with soya or almond milk with a scoop of vegan protein powder, with a mix of whatever fruit I have, I may sprinkle granola on top, ground flax, peanut butter, soya plain yogurt. I might add spirulina, matcha tea. Beetroot or blueberry powder.
Or, straight protein shake poured over fruit, with whatever toppings you fancy.
Make it attractive, tasty and nutritious and just have fun with it.
