Here is a recipe for raw chocolate bars, there are several recipes out there, the basis of which are the same. But each varies in content. The batch I have made this evening are incredible, if I say so myself.

175gms Medjool dates, soak them in water for a little while to soften, then cut them into small pieces and remove the stone.
150gms Cashews
125gms mix of sesame seeeds, pumpkins seeds or trail mix, whatever you have really.
25gms of cocoa powder. go for the real thing, it really does make a difference.
2 tablespoons of coconut oil melted
50 gms of Pure soya spread mixed with almond essence
coconut flakes
Put the dates, cashews, seeds and cocoa powder into your blender, put onto pulse, or turn on and off to get a pulsing effect, then add coconut oil and Pure. Pulse again. Turn out into a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon, add coconut then put into a baking tray. Flatten to an even level. Place in the fridge for an hour. Remove and cut into 12 pieces. Wrap each piece in grease proof paper and put in a tub to keep in the fridge.
When you have a chocolate urge, don’t worry, go ahead and enjoy one of these lovely, rich power bars.
