One cup of diced mango contains 100 calories, 1 gram protein, 0.5 grams fat, 25 grams of carbohydrate (23 grams of sugar and 3 grams of fiber), 100% of the daily need for vitamin C, 35% for vitamin A, 20% of folate, 10% of vitamin B-6 and 8% of vitamin K and potassium.
I absolutely love Mango, I use it everywhere and in everything…almost.
Break…fast. Over granola and nuts, with other fruits or with Chlorella. It is sweet, so if you find Chlorella or spirulina too bitter, Mango will take the edge off.

In cakes, often when I make cakes or muffins I use apple sauce to make them moist, mango puree is perfect for this and also gives a lovely sunshine colour to the cake. See recipes Mango Muffins, These are Incredible.

Guests for dinner. Simples wraps, filled with chilli beans, avocado and salad, a little Vegan Wine and Mango and Papaya crumble. I will add the recipe for this soon.
Mango pulp can be added to smoothies, diluted with water for a refreshing drink, frozen to make a sorbet, used as a syrup over ice cream or puddings.
Keep Mangoes handy. x

Yum I really love mangos as well, for me I’m just happy to have mangos plain when it’s the summertime and they’re so nice and sweet!
