I used about 100 gms of trail mix, then added sesame seeds, chopped almonds and roasted beans, the beans I put into a bag then used a rolling pin to crush them down.

Once the pure and sugar has melted, pour into the dry mix and combine. Once it is well mixed, line a baking tray with baking paper and pour the mixture in,

Use a spatula to push the mixture right to the edges. Then place in the over 170 for 25-30 minutes or until browned.

Leave to cool, lift out of the tray and cut into 18 pieces. I left half plain, the other half had a naughty topping added.

I used Wholesome organic confectioners sugar, 30 gms and 10 gms of cocoa powder and mixed together with a tablespoon of almond milk. Don’t add too much liquid straight away, you can always add a little more if needed. Then when mixed add a few pumpkin seeds. Spread onto half of the flapjack then decorate with 2 almonds on each bar.

Because I cut this into 18 pieces, the calorie content isn’t too scary.
