Raw Granola…My Favorite Way to Eat Seeds and Nuts.

It was time to top up my granola today. Its different every time I make it, as I use whatever I have in my store cupboard. So today…

300 gm of 4 seed mix (Pumpkin, Sunflower, Sesame and Golden Linseed)

50 gm of Pecan nuts

50 gm of Macadamia nuts

50 gm of almonds

30 gm of Brazil nuts

25 gm of Chia Seeds

10 gm ground flax seed

15 gm of coconut flakes

Give it a good mix around, then transfer to a container. I usually line my tub with a bag to help keep it fresh. This makes 11 portions of 48 gms servings.

At this point, you could if you wish to place the mix onto a baking tray, drizzle with Agave Nectar and bake for 30-40 minutes.

But I leave mine as it is, no added sugar.

Each 48 gm serving, which is how much my scoop will hold gives the following:

282 Calories per serving

5.7 gm of carbs

24 gm of healthy fats

10 gm of protein.

This is with nothing added. I usually add Alpro almond milk,  Alpro Go On, nut butter and maybe some Mango puree. Which will take it to about 400-450 calories.
