Vitamin A, B and C antioxidants beta carotene and on and on and on. Beetroot is a power house, naturally sweet but low calorie. Now if you are someone who eats your beetroot pickled then this want work. But Beetroot just boiled, is so beautifully sweet that it has a place in so many places other than salads. Try it, you may be pleasantly surprised. See Nutritional Facts in link above for more info on the humble Beetroot.
So:
50 gms Lizis Granola
25 gms The Food Doctor Roasted beans
100 ml Soya unsweetened- mixed with @Nutriseed Total Superfoods -10 gms, 5 gms Maca Powder, 5 gms Beetroot powder. Shake well until smoothly mixed. You could mix it in a blender, but save on washing up, it mixes well in a lidded beaker.
Pour over the granola and beans.
Add 1 Tablespoon of Alpro plain, 1 kiwi, a couple of slices of Beetroot, chopped, sliced, or use cutters, whatever takes your fancy.
And finally, my latest try is a nut butter from @Nutriseed, Super-food Nut Butter. This is lovely, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, gogis, chia.
As a consequence of all the above, this is a totally charged, super way to start your day.
I have had an early breakfast today…07:30am, and this should keep me fuelled through to dinner. around 18:00.
